Heron dinghy centreboard

The norfolk broads forum - ! leaky centreboard box., I am the lucky? owner of a very early heron dinghy, sail no. 2006, which has been in my family for nearly 40 years. my most pressing problem at the moment though is the centreboard box. it seems to be the main point of entry of water, and i can't find or stop the leak, which appears to be at the front end, in the area of the pivot bolt.
